Ličenje: Burgundy cut crease

7. marec 2017

Oči & obrvi:
Illamasqua baza (svetleča)
NYX Jumbo eye pencil (Milk)
TF White Chocolate (po celi veki)
TF Salted Caramel (v gubi)
TF Cherry Cordial (v gubi - cut crease in na spodnji veki)
Inglot AMC 64 (črna senčka kot eyeliner)
Maybeline Master Drama (svinčnik)
L'Oreal Superstar maskara
Catrice Eyebrow gel

Obraz & ustnice:
The Ordinary primer
Clarins Instant concealer (kot tekoča podlaga)
UD De-slick Matifiying powder
Too Faced Milk Chocolate bronzer
Benefit Dandelion rdečilo
Sleek Birthday Suit (mat tekoča šminka)

Ličenje: Black smokey eye

27. februar 2017

27. december 2016

Zoeva Cocoa Blend palette - Look #2

5. oktober 2015

Hello again lovelies! Three posts in one day, say what?! :) I'm gearing up for some long review posts and other fun stuff with these 'easier' makeup look/notd posts - I hope you don't mind. Maybe I'll get inspired and create some new ones now that I'm posting the 'old' ones... (lord knows I have enough nail polishes and eyeshadow palettes). :D

Anyhew... this is the second look I created using the newest addition to my eyeshadow palette collection - Zoeva's Cocoa Blend palette (go check out the first look, if you haven't seen it yet). This time I went with 'the star' of the palette, Warm Notes - a stunning redish pink shimmering shade. I just knew I had to create something with it the moment I saw it...

Eyebrows:
♥ MeMeMe Arch Angel (in Dark Brown)

Eyes:
♥ theBalm Put a lid on it (primer)
♥ NYX Jumbo eye pencil (in Milk)
♥ Warm Notes (all over the lid)
♥ Substitute for Love (through the crease)
♥ Infusion (in the outer corner and bottom lash line)
♥ Bitter Start + Sweeter End (as highlights - inner corner/brow bone)
♥ Tweezerman eyelash curler
♥ Too Faced Better than sex mascara

And here's the look with a bit of liner... :)

What are your thoughts on this look - something you'd wear? Do you have this palette or any other Zoeva palette? Would you like to see more looks like this?

EOTD: Forgotten makeup

Hello my lovelies! My baby boy is sleeping (for the moment) and I have a couple of minutes to spare so I decided to write up as many posts as I possibly can... :) I have so many drafts it's ridiculous and I hope I'll get back to posting regularly (or at least a bit more frequently).

I decided to post a few makeup looks/notd's for starters and bring the heavy-duty reviews later. Unfortunately as the title suggests this is a forgotten makeup look so I can't really remember which shade/shades I used to create it but I really like how it turned out, so I decided to show it to you anyway. :) I do however remember which mascara I used - my absolute favorite, Too Faced Better than sex. ;)

Have yourself a wonderful day! :D

Zoeva Cocoa Blend palette - Look #1

16. junij 2015

Hello lovelies! I thought I'd show you the first look I created using the new palette from Zoeva - Cocoa Blend. :) I really wanted to do something with Delicate Acidity because I thought it was such a unique and beautiful shade. I think it would look gorgeous on any eye color!

All products used for this look:

♥ theBalm Put a lid on it eyeshadow primer
♥ Delicate Acidity (all over the lid)
♥ Substitute for Love (crease)
♥ Pure Ganache (lower lash line)

♥ Tweezerman eyelash curler
♥ Too Faced Better than sex mascara

Let me know what you think of this look - would you wear it? :) I have one more look ready and then I'll have to create some more, so I'm open for suggestions - which shades would you like me use or what kind of makeup look would you like to see me do using this palette?

*L'Oreal False Lash Wings Intenza mascara: review & look

10. april 2015

Hello darlings! Today I'd like to talk to you about a lovely mascara I got for review purposes and also had the pleasure of using it to create a makeup look for a Facebook competition - L'Oreal False Lash Wings Intenza. It's been quite a while since I used a drugstore mascara (due to the fact that I fell in love with my Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara), so I was excited to try this one out and see how it performs.

The first thing I noticed about this mascara was the amazing packaging and the intriguing brush it came with. I am a big fan of plastic brushes, so I was immediately hopeful that this would work great for my short, sparse lashes. I'm not too picky when it comes to formula - the only thing I expect of it, is for it to not be too liquidy or too dry, so something in between (something that makes application easy and not messy). The formula of this mascara did not disappoint and I have a feeling it will get even better as it get's 'worn-in' (a tiny bit drier is what I really mean). :)

The mascara applies beautifully and gives great length to my tiny lashes (as you can hopefully see from the 'before-after' picture bellow). It's not huge on volume but it gives a decent amount of it, that's for sure. The formula along with the awesome brush, coats each and every lash perfectly without sticking them together and creating a clumpy mess. I also found it to work great with my bottom lashes as it doesn't smudge all over my lower lash line/under eye area.

It didn't bother my sensitive eyes and it managed to stay put without smudging or flaking throughout the day. I didn't find it to be too hard to remove - I think your typical eye makeup remover will do the job.

And last but not least... here's the makeup look I created using this mascara. I was feeling a pink-cranberry vibe for my eyes, so I used my Sleek Storm palette (a combination of the two pink shades) and my Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette (Cherry Cordial, Champagne Truffle - for highlighting). The foundation I used was from Vichy - Teint Ideal, I then powdered my t-zone with Urban Decay's De-Slick mattifiying powder and used a bit of Too Faced Chocolate Soleil (Milk Chocolate) bronzer. I opted for natural lips, so I applied a bit of Urban Decay's Revolution lipstick in Naked and put a tiny amount of Clarins' Natural Lip perfector (in 05) on top of it. And that's it!

Lily Lolo blush in Rosebud

24. oktober 2014

Hello darlings! Sticking with pink-themed posts this week (in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month), I'll be reviewing another gorgeous pink product from Lily Lolo (check out yesterday's review I did on one of their pressed blushes). So, this blush was part of a collective haul I did back in July. I really wanted to try out one of their mineral blushes and I ended up picking the beautiful Rosebud. :)

This shade is absolutely divine! The swatch bellow doesn't even do it justice... I tried to capture it in all its glory, but it's simply too gorgeous... you just have to see it in person. :) I would describe the color as a dark rose with beautiful shimmer running through it.

The shimmer in it however, is the reason I can't use it for what it is. I won't say I hate shimmery blushes because I really don't, I just much prefer matte ones or blushes that have just the tiniest sheen to them but aren't noticeably shimmery (if you get what I'm trying to say). Despite that I decided I was going to make it work... it's just too beautiful to be passed on to one of my girlfriends. :)

So... I went ahead and used it as an eyeshadow! And I have to say it makes one hell of an eyeshadow color. :) Because of the new and improved packaging, the application was practically mess-free and I actually didn't experience any fallout - it adhered to the eyeshadow base like a dream (I used NYX Jumbo eye pencil in Milk) and blended wonderfully with the other eyeshadows I used (from UD Naked3).

I'm really happy with the way this look turned out and I'll probably keep on using it as an eyeshadow... but that certainty doesn't mean you shouldn't use it as a blush. If you love a bit of shimmer on your cheeks and a stunning color like this, than you need to get it! If you're more like me and prefer matte blushes, there are quite a few shades to choose from as well. I'm especially interested in Surfer Girl, Flushed and Ooh La La. You can get all of them for 10.28 € (but look out for offers/sales). :)

So, what are your thoughts? Would you prefer to wear it as a blush or as an eyeshadow? :)

Let's use our Naked palette...

28. julij 2014

Hello darlings! I'm back after taking a break for a few days - had some things to sort out (all good things, nothing negative, don't worry) and of course I had to attend my nephew's second birthday party, we had a blast even though it was raining (pictures going up on my Instagram account as I type this, so go check them out if you'd like). Anyhew... I'm back now and I hope I'll be able to bring you interesting posts daily (I have soooo much stuff to show you). :)

For today though, I thought I'd show you some makeup/eye looks I created using my Naked palette from Urban Decay. As I've mentioned (about a gazillion times before) I started kind of a series on my blog with makeup looks created with different eyeshadow palettes I own, but I always end up forgetting about these series and post something else instead. So now I said no more! and decided to create a bunch at once and show them all to you - just like I did with the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette and most of you seemed to like that. Plus, it's great to show multiple looks at once and then get feedback from you or even requests to showcase certain ones separately with 'tutorials'.

I've managed to create 7 different looks, from really neutral/gentle looks, to those a bit more dramatic, the first one is even matte. :)

Eyeshadows used: Naked, Buck, Creep, Virgin

Eyeshadows used: Sin, Buck, Hustle, Virgin

Eyeshadows used: Sidecar, Naked, Darkhorse, Virgin

Eyeshadows used: Toasted, Sin, Virgin, Buck, Hustle

Eyeshadows used: Half Baked, Smog, Buck, Darkhorse, Gunmetal, Virgin

Eyeshadows used: Hustle, Sin, Virgin, Buck, Creep

Eyeshadows used: Gunmetal, Virgin, Buck, Creep

My favorites are no. 3, 4 and 5. :) I've managed to use every single eyeshadow in the palette and I'm really happy I did, because now I think I'll be wearing some of them more often (I neglected a few before, usually reaching for the same ones over and over again).

I'd love to hear your thoughts on the looks I've created and please, let me know if you're particularly interested in one or more of them, so I can show them separately and give you a little tutorial as well. :)

Chocolate Bar palette: Look #1

1. julij 2014

Hello darlings! Today I thought I'd show you a look I did using my Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette. I showed a couple of looks when I did a full review on it and some of you asked, if I would give you a little more information about them - as in which eyeshadows I used where and such. So, without further ado, here's the first look among many (I hope), using my Chocolate Bar. :)

All products used on my eyes:

♥ theBalm Put a lid on it eyeshadow primer
♥ NYX Jumbo eye pencil in Milk
♥ Amaretto all over the lid
♥ Cherry Cordial through the crease
♥ Triple Fudge in the outer V
♥ a mix of Amaretto and Triple fudge along the lower lash line
♥ Champagne Truffle and White Chocolate as a highlight
♥ Alverde gel liner
♥ Maybelline The Rocket mascara
♥ Catrice Eyebrow gel

So, what do you think of this look? I really like the way it turned out and I especially love Amaretto (I'm a sucker for shades like this). :) I'll try and come up with as many interesting looks as I can, but I would love to hear some suggestions/requests from you - what kind of look would you like to see? :)
