March favorites

I know, I know... it's almost the middle of April but I thought I'd share my March favorites with you anyway. :) I haven't been buying much makeup lately, if any, so these posts do tend to get repetitive but still, some new items seem to pop up here and there.

I still haven't been able to get my hands on my favorite mascara of all time (Too Faced Better than sex) so L'Oreal's Superstar mascara is my current favorite. I've been using it for a couple of months now and I really do like it. It doesn't seem to bother my eyes which most mascaras tend to do and it does a great job at lengthening and also adding volume. A great eyeliner that goes nicely with this mascara is Maybelline's Master Precise. I already loved the kajal liners from this line (Master Drama), but I also really like this one - it gives you the thinnest of lines and stays in place.

The eyeshadow palette I'm constantly yapping on about is (still) Zoeva's Cocoa Blend. I do use Too Faced Chocolate Bar as well but lately Zoeva has been my go-to. :) Clarins Lip perfector has been on my lips most of the time, though I have switched it out with some proper lipsticks throughout the month.

My cheeks mostly wore Benefit's Dandelion and Too Faced Chocolate Solei (my favorite combo). I've also been enjoying my new eye brushes (from eBay) and I've started wearing perfume again so Estee Lauder's Sensuous was my first pick for warmer weather (I'll talk about it more in a separate post).

Top makeup izdelki meseca januarja

Čeprav sem še vedno v svoji 'no-makeup' fazi, sem januarja kar nekajkrat posegla po ličilih in večinoma ustvarjala naravne, nežne videze. Najbrž sem kak izdelek pozabila izpostaviti, ampak ti štirje so bili vedno prisotni, zato mislim, da jih je vredno omeniti. :)

Top negovalni izdelki meseca januarja

Vem, vem... smo že na sredini februarja, jaz pa pišem o top izdelkih meseca januarja. :) Ampak... mislim, da so čisto vsi vredni omembe, še posebej, ker gre po večini za novosti oz. za nove negovalne izdelke, ki sem jih vključila v svojo dnevno/nočno rutino. Koža je sicer zadnje čase precej 'zoprna' - zelo suha, občutljiva, ampak s temi izdelki jo kolikor toliko ohranjam v dobri kondiciji. Naj bo že enkrat konec te čudne zime... :)

Top izdelki meseca novembra & decembra

Pa sem se spet potrudila in skupaj spravila eno objavo o izdelkih, ki sem jih imela najraje v zadnjem času. Glede na to, da smo ravno že čez polovico decembra in da te izdelki ostajajo v moji rotaciji, sem se odločila pisati kar za oba meseca skupaj. Torej... kateri izdelki so me navdušili in zakaj? :)

TOP IZDELKI: MESEC MAJ

Huh, kako letijo meseci... S to objavo sem malo pozna, saj smo že čez polovico junija, ampak glede na odzive, vem, da imate rade takšne objave, pa sem se jo vseeno odločila spisati. :) 

Tudi v mesecu maju je prevladal 'minimalizem', kar se tiče ličil, je pa bilo zato toliko bolj povdarka na zaščiti in negi kože. Letos se je moja alergija na sonce zopet odločila pokazati, zato ne gre brez zaščite - še vedno sta mi Vichy sprej in pena najljubša izdelka, čeprav me iz Lune TBWA spet razvajajo z zaščitnimi izdelki La Roche-Posay, ki so prav tako fantastični. ;)

TOP IZDELKI: MESEC APRIL

Zadnje čase (khm, zadnjih nekaj let, če smo iskreni), nisem bila preveč pridna z mesečnimi favoriti... velikokrat zato, ker se mi preprosto ni dalo spraviti vse izdelke, ki sem jih veliko uporabljala, na kup, še večkrat pa zato, ker preprosto nisem imela nobenih razburljivih izdelkov za pokazat oz. so se mi favoriti iz meseca v mesec ponavljali. :) Tudi zdaj vam ne morem obljubit, da bodo mesečni favoriti redne objave, ampak se bom pa definitivno potrudila... z letnimi časi se spreminjajo tudi izdelki, ki jih uporabljam in ni ga vraga, da se ne bo kaj novega našlo za objavit. :)

Mesec april je bil precej 'au naturel'... makeup je bil na minimumu, zatorej so se super obnesli 100% Pure maskara v čokoladnem odtenku (polna ocena pride kmalu), nepogrešljiva Clarins Instant perfector glos za ustnice in Catrice Eyebrow gel ter Clarinsov korektor za prekrivanje kakšnih manjših nepravilnosti (čeprav je zadnje čase kože zelo vredu, tok tok tok).

Tudi sami koži nisem posvečala preveč pozornosti, če sem poštena, ampak duo L'Occitane Shea tonik in 4kidsandus Pomlajevalna krema, sta pa bila v redni uporabi. Tonik me je tako navdušil, da imam že kupljeno rezervo, krema za obraz je pa naravnost čudovita in že se bojim dneva ko mi je bo zmanjkalo in bo treba odšteti precej dinarčkov za novo.

Vsake toliko sem se vseeno spomnila koži privoščiti malo več razvajanja in takrat sem uporabila Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey masko. Če imate normalno/mešano/problematično kožo, jo morate preizkusiti, meni je fantastična! Gre za masko, ki deluje proti nepravilnostim (manuka med kot glavna učinkovina), a je hkrati zelo hranilna in prav 'odžeja' kožo.

Batiste suhi šampon je večni favorit, a sem ga vseeno morala vključiti, ker se mi zadnje čase lasje obupno hitro zmastijo (predvsem zaradi teh hudih temperaturnih sprememb, vlage, ipd.) in da si res ne rabim vsak dan prati las, me rešuje ta mali čudež v lušni retro flaški. ;) 

Novo odkritje, ki ga dejansko uporabljam šele par dni, pa sem ga takoj morala vključiti v favorite, je naravni deodorant Polja sivke, z vonjem limonske trave. TOP zadeva! Kupila mi ga je kolegica, ki ga zvesto uporablja že več let in me čisto navdušila. Diši fantastično in deluje zelo dobro! Več o njem povem kmalu. :)

In še zadnji izdelek, ki sem se ga odločila vključiti, je izdelek za malega - Dr. Pasha, Tosamina naravna krema za dojenčke. Sprva sem jo kupila kot kremo za ritko, a je preveč mastna (gre vbistvu za maslo), se pa zato odlično obnese kot mazilo za telo. Diši zelo, zelo lepo, naravno in kožo naredi super mehko. Kmalu spišem objavo o kremah za dojenčke iz naših drogerij in tam povem več o sami kremi. ;)

Product of the month: Tweezerman eyelash curler

Hello lovelies! The title of this post is a bit off, because this eyelash curler has not been a favorite for the past month but for the past few months! My e.l.f. Mechanical eyelash curler had to be retired and since they don't seem to carry it on their website anymore, I had to find something else... and boy am I glad I did. :)

The eyelash curler looks beautiful (I especially like that the sponge thingy is purple) and feels super sturdy and well made - I never feel like it's going to slip out of my hands and tare half of my lashes off even though it doesn't have rubberized handles (like the e.l.f. one had). :) The 'sponge thingy' part of the curler is actually made out of silicone which prevents your lashes from sticking. You get one that's set on the curler already and 3 replacements - and trust me they will last you a very long time. :)

The curve of it seems to be excellent for my eye shape, so I can really grab (almost) every single lash and get a beautiful curve. It makes a tremendous difference when I use it before applying mascara - I really can't imagine not using it anymore. I was in a hurry a couple of days ago and did my makeup super fast, applying mascara without using this magical thing and my lashes looked so poor, I immediately regretted my decision (you can see how poor and straight my tiny lashes are on the picture bellow). :)

I decided to show you bare lashes on the pictures above, but you can see this curler in combination with my all time favorite mascara (Too Faced Better than sex), here, and decide for your self. ;)

I got this eyelash curler off of Lookfantastic for around 19 € I believe, but you can curently get it for 23 €.

Hello my lovelies! Today I thought I'd show you some items that are currently resting on my vanity table and are not really being used. These are my 'fall/winter' products, if you will... Now, I'm really not up to trend and I don't limit myself to specific shades/colors for specific times of the year, but the reality is that I just don't feel like wearing some products when it's hot and humid outside (not that we actually had a proper summer here in Slovenia). :)

When temperatures start to rise and girls start to wear super short pants (*with their buts sticking out*) I normally begin to steer away from heavy/full coverage foundation and just go for my trusty mineral foundation (Lily Lolo is my holy grail). I've been wearing Illamasqua's Skin Base religiously all throughout last winter and a bit in spring as well, so I know I'll be digging it out of my 'stash' again, when temperatures start to drop.

Nail polish is also one of those things I do 'adjust' as the seasons change. I'm not super strict about it and will wear whichever shade I choose, but I normally reach for nudes, pinks, light blues, even yellows when summer sets in. But in the colder months I find myself applying darker and richer shades. Some of my favorites are Ciate's Burlesque and Cabaret - amazing shades for fall/winter.

Something that also changes in my daily routine depending on the season is my perfume of choice. Throughout winter I was obsessed with Illamasqua's Freak and used up the 30 ml bottle I had before purchasing the full size 75 ml one, but when spring faded into summer it just started to feel a bit heavy on me and I started reaching for the lighter perfumes in my collection (like Estee Lauder's Sensuous or Jessica Simpson's Fancy). Another perfume that I really adore wearing in the colder months is Versace Crystal Noir. This one is actually not too heavy and I can pull it off in warmer months as well, but I just don't reach for as often as I do in fall/winter. :)

And last but certainly not least are my fall/winter lipstick shades. From time to time I'll try to pull off a red lip, but most of the time I tend to go for berry-toned lipsticks. Now, seeing the swatches above you're probably thinking that these lipsticks are pretty light and suitable for summer as well, and you're right... but they really are all a bit more berry-toned and do appear darker on my lips than some of the others I have in my collection. I usually go for lighter, brighter and more nude shades in summer. Hello my lovelies! Today I thought I'd share my May beauty and skin care favorites with you. I skipped April, because I wasn't really using any new products or at least not enough new ones to write a whole post on them. :) But in May I've managed to acquire a bunch of new things and have been loving a lot of them, so... here they are.

I've been thoroughly enjoying my new eyeshadow palette from Too Faced - the Chocolate Bar palette. I've been using it exclusively ever since I got it. It's a gorgeous neutral palette with a bit of color in it as well and it smells divine (just like the Chocolate Soleil bronzer, which is also one of my favorites). :) A full review with swatches and some looks will be coming up next week, so stay tuned for that.

My eyebrows have been looking pretty good, thanks to Lily Lolo's eyebrow duo in medium - it's a great duo with a wax and powder in it. At first I was afraid the color would be too dark for me, but it turned out to be just right. :)

I found a new under eye concealer and it has quickly become my favorite. I still very much love my e.l.f. Tone Correcting concealer, but this CC eye cream from Bourjois is amazing. I have it in the lightest shade and it covers any discoloration I have under my eyes and brightest at the same time, love it!

I've grown quite fond of Maybelline's The Rocket mascara. At first I didn't really like it - I think it was too wet, but now that the formula got a bit dryer I love it. It gives my tiny, sparse lashes a bit of volume as well as some length and it doesn't irritate my eyes either. A very nice mascara indeed!

For my face I've been loving my trusty Lily Lolo mineral foundation in Blondie - now that the weather's getting warmer I don't want to wear liquid/cream foundation, I just want something that feels weightless, evens out my skin tone and blends seamlessly with my skin... and this foundation gives me everything. :)

And I also fell in love with a new blush - Lancome's Rose Ballerine. The blush looks absolutely stunning in the pan, but also looks amazing on the cheeks. It's a lovely gentle pink shade with a highlighting effect, very beautiful.

I've been enjoying my new Illamasqua nail polishes on my nails - I've worn them all throughout May. You can check out manicures done with Facet and Trilliant (Fire Rose will be up on Monday).

On my lips I've been loving MAC's Syrup or Plumful, Syrup on more casual days and Plumful for more special occasions. :) I've also been wearing some new lip glosses - one from Makeup Revolution (in the shade Coral) and the other one from Smasbox (in the shade Ruby) - I got this one from Sara (Passing Fancy) but I haven't had the chance to snap some pictures of it to include it here. You can however take a peek at how it looks on my lips, in my most recent FOTD. :)

Two more face products I've been loving are Urban Decay's De-Slick mattifying powder (because we are all getting a bit more 'dewy' now that the temperatures are rising) and Chocolate Soleil bronzer (in Milk Chocolate) from Too Faced - my absolute favorite bronzer of all times. :)

As for skin care products... I've already posted about some of these in my recent post - 'What my skin's been loving', so go check that one out. 

I've also been really enjoining Andalou Naturals Avo Cocoa mask - a great, nourishing mask that smells incredible. :) My staple cleanser for when I'm cleansing my skin under the shower has been Alverde's Clear cleansing cream and my new favorite makeup remover is Clarins' Pure Melt cleansing gel (full review coming soon). And once again, when I had some random hormonal breakouts, my night in shinning armor was Mario Badescu's Drying Lotion - amazing stuff! :)

March favorites :)

Hello lovelies! I decided I was going to be a good beauty blogger and post my March favorites sooner than in the middle of April. :) March wasn't really that eventful for me in the makeup 'department'. I wasn't really wearing makeup all that much, but when I was it was more or less the same things, so I thought I'd mention them here...

When I decided to venture out of the house and go check out if the city still looks the same, I usually wore my UD Naked Basics on the eyes (Venus, W.O.S and Naked), along with The Rocket mascara from Maybelline. I have mixed feelings about this mascara - I love how it makes my lashes look, but it does start to irritate my eyes a bit after a couple of hours. I'll give you a full review soon. :)

My skin has been still pretty good and the weather has been a bit warmer, so I've been loving my Lily Lolo foundation in Blondie (which I'm finally running out of - after 3 years). It just evens my skin out, hides imperfections whilst giving me a really natural look - love this stuff! :) Oh, and I've been applying it with my Ecotools Bronzer brush lately and I love how the two work together (finally getting some use out of this brush, because I certainly don't use it for bronzer). Another brush I've also been loving is the Proffesional portable powder brush from BornPrettyStore. I haven't been using it for powder but for my e.l.f. blush in Tickled Pink and the two are a great match. :)

On my lips I've been wearing either L'Oreal's Caresse lipstick in Rebel Red which is a lovely sheer red lipstick or my new lippie love - Liz Earle lipstick in the shade Raspberry (I seriously love Liz Earle so much and now that I've tried some of her makeup I want everything!). 

I'm still very much in love with my Freak perfume from Illamasqua and haven't been wearing anything else since January, which is very strange for me since I love to 'rotate' my perfumes. I actually only have a tiny bit of it left - for two maybe three sprays and I'm feeling very sad. I need this in my life, but I want the gorgeous 75 ml bottle which is freaking expensive! On the other hand... my birthday is coming on the 19th, so I guess that's a great excuse to splurge on it, right?

On my nails I've been really enjoying two nail polishes - Essence Here's my number, which is a gorgeous gray-black sand effect polish with blue glitter in it and also Ciate's Loop the loop in combination with Confetti - I actually still have this manicure on after 14 days (god I love my Seche Vite top coat!). The nail  polish I've been loving latetly (and have bought a new bottle a few days ago) is Cien (I got it at Lidl, for all my Slovenian readers). It does a great job at removing makeup and I love the 'pump' mechanism on it.

Last but definitely not least are two new products - one for my body and one for my hair. I got Tigi Catwalk Blow out balm on Mateja's recommendations and I've been really loving it (detailed review coming soon). And I bought Afrodita's SPA sugar scrub because I saw it on several blogs, so I just had to try it for myself... and this stuff is seriously amazing (review also coming soon). :)

So, those are my March favorites... I didn't mention any skin care favorites because my skin care routine has basically remained the same, no drastic changes. Though I have gotten a few new products for review and I have a feeling they'll soon make their way into my favorites. :)

February favorites :)

Hello lovelies! I know I'm pretty late with my February favorites but I swear... February went by so damn fast! Yes, it's the shortest month of all, but still... :) Anyhew... I have quite a few favorites to show you. A few have stayed the same but most are 'new'. 

MAKEUP

In the makeup department I've been absolutely loving my UD Naked3 palette. Ever since I got it, I used it practically every time I did my makeup. The shades I've been 'rocking' the most are Buzz and Liar (as I predicted) along with all the matte shades. It's a really stunning palette and I highly recommend it.

To help my eyeshadows last all day I've been using theBalm Put a lid on it eyeshadow primer and it works great! :)

My skin has been behaving all through February so I switched back to mineral foundation - Lily Lolo in the shade Blondie. I've been using my Ecotools Bronzer brush for applying it (I switch between this one and the Lily Lolo kabuki, which is the best brush ever).

Two new products that have quickly become favorites are theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer highlighter and Alverde LE lipstick in Velvet Kiss. I was a bit concerned about the highlighter being too shiny but I actually discovered it was just right - not too shiny and not too subtle (full review coming soon). The lipstick was something I bought on a whim after seeing it on Ina's blog (Lovely Little Luxuries) and boy am I happy I bought it. It's a gorgeous red lipstick that's really wearable for me (full review with swatches coming soon).

SKIN CARE

In the skin care departement I've been really enjoying La Roche-Posay Serozinc spray as a second toner (before I apply my face cream). It freshens up the skin and calms it down, a lovely product (thank god I'm stocked up on it - thank you Sanja!). The other toner I've been loving is of course Mario Badescu Glycolic acid toner - a great exfoliating toner that keeps my skin from getting congested and keeps those blackheads at bay. For my face I've been loving Antipodes Vanilla Pod day cream - the scent of this cream is aaamazing and I love it just as much as the Avocado Pear night cream (full review coming soon). :)

I've been having a lot of eye problems all through February (puffy, tired, irritated, even painful eyes - supposedly something to do with my sinuses though doctors couldn't really find out what was going on). They can still get puffy and irritated so I'm really happy I have the miracle that is Liz Earle Eyebright Soothing eye lotion at my disposal. I've been using it religiously and I can't tell you how much it has helped me. I'm running out of it so I'll have to repurchase it soon...

I've been also enjoying the new Garnier Micellar Cleansing water - it's basically the same as the L'Oreal one except it comes in a better packaging and there's more of it for the same price. I use this to clean up around my eyes when I'm doing my makeup, take off my red lipstick or sometimes to take off an entire face of makeup (since I haven't been wearing a lot of it - just mineral foundation with some mascara and a lipstick).

Last but not least... I've been using and enjoying both of my Sierra Bees organic lip balms (I get them when I order something on iHerb). I have one in my purse/pocket and one on my night stand at all times. I have the balm in Cocoa and in Honey and I love them both (I probably love the Honey one a bit more).

OTHER

The perfume I've been loving is still Illamasqua's Freak - I just can't get enough of it! Gorgeous scent! :) On my nails I loved two of my new Essie nail polishes - Demure Vix and Trophy Wife (I wore the latter for almost 14 days!). And speaking of nail polishes, I had to mention my favorite 'treatments/top/base coats' - Seche Vite Dry fast top coat (best top coat I've ever tried), Essie's Grow richer base coat/treatment (it really does help your nails grow quicker) and Nailtiques Formula 2 protein enriched base coat/treatment (great for strengthening your nails). I'll talk more about all three of them in a separate post. And because my hands have been really dry lately, I've been slathering on the Cacao & Orange hand cream from Yves Rocher.

January favorites :)

Hello lovelies! I know we're heading towards the middle of February already, but I decided to share my January favorites with you anyway. There were quite a few old favorites and quite a few new ones as well. I decided to showcase only the newer ones since I would just be repeating myself with the old ones. I will however give them a mention or two. :)

SKINCARE / HAIRCARE FAVORITES

A new find has been the amazing wash creme from Alverde. I saw it on Nuša's blog where she spoke highly of it. A few days after that I was browsing around the drugstore with Aida and she also said she loves this stuff, so of course I had to get it. And boy am I happy I did. It's amazing... I've been using it all through January and I absolutely love it. A full review will be coming soon. :)

Another skin savoir that I've been loving is my Mario Badescu Drying lotion. This stuff is seriously amazing and works like a dream. Every time I had a spot and used this on it, it was a goner. :) I also love how fun it is to use. A full review coming soon.

My hair has been seriously enjoying 100% Pure Honey & Virgin Coconut conditioner. It's supposedly the newer version of my beloved 100% Pure Glossy Locks Honey Coconut milk conditioner. It's not quite as good as the older version was but it's pretty close, I'll give it that. :) I've been really loving it. Full review coming soon.

The other three products I've been really loving all throughout January are all from Antipodes - Avocado Pear night cream (divine!), Kiwi Seed Oil eye cream (gorgeous!) and the famous Aura Manuka Honey mask (which I'm actually running low on *crying*). I've also been loving the Vanilla Pod day cream from Antipodes, but I decided not to feature it, because I was really mostly using the Avocado Pear cream. Reviews of all these items will be coming shortly. :)

OTHER FAVORITES

Since my makeup routine hasn't really changed that much in January (I've been still enjoying my Illamasqua Skin Base foundation, applying it with my RT Miracle Complexion sponge, setting it with UD De-Sleek mattifiying powder and b6 Vitamin-infused complexion prep spray) I decided to mention just a few new products I've added in. :) 

I've been really loving e.l.f.'s Blush&Bronzing cream (particularly the blush). This is my first cream blush and bronzer. I've was never really into creams, I always went for powder/compact blushes but I have to say I really love how a cream blush looks on me - very natural. :) The only downside is that you can only get one shade of this, I would love to have more of these cream blushes in different shades. A new addition to my lipstick collection is the Too Faced La Creme Color Drenched lip creme in Spice Spice Baby. It's a gorgeous shade that's kind of a 'my lips but better' shade for me. It's very creamy and very easy to wear. I love the packaging, the shade, the scent. Full review coming soon.

The nail polishes I loved wearing the most in January were Essie's Instant Hot, Illamasqua's Baptiste and Ciate's Cookies and Creme. Gorgeous nail polishes that have an amazing formula and last a long time on my nails. :)

The perfume I've been wearing ever since I got it in the beginning of January, is Illamasqua's Freak. It's a really gorgeous scent that I keep reaching for - every single time I open my perfume 'cabinet' and try to decide which one to wear, I end up going with Freak. It's slowly but surely becoming one of my favorites, if not my favorite. :)

November favorites

Hello my honey-bunnies! :) I'm a bit late to the 'monthly favorites bandwagon', but here I go anyway... I haven't posted a monthly favorites post in god knows how long. And it's not even that I don't have any or am too lazy to post them, it's just that I mostly use and love the same products every month, maybe there's a newcomer here and there, but nothing too exciting. Recently though, I've been using and loving quite a few new products, so I decided to share them with you. :)

For my eyes I've been loving my trusty e.l.f. Mechanical eyelash curler, along with the Maybelline One by One mascara. When I want to create a classic, no-fuss kind of makeup look, I tend to reach for my UD Naked Basics eyeshadow palette - I especially love the combination of W.O.S. all over the lid, Naked2 as a transition color in the crease and Faint in the outer corner to 'smoke' out the look, plus Venus as a highlighter on the brow bone and inner corners of the eyes. :) On a daily basis I don't fill in my brows with a pencil or eyeshadow, I just comb them through with my Catrice Eyebrow gel, that gives a tiny bit of color to them as well. 

For my face I've been loving Skin Base foundation from Illamasqua. I apply it with a damp Real Techniques Miracle Complexion sponge and the result is a really flawless base. It's been a while since I've enjoyed applying foundation this much. :D I've been still loving my e.l.f. Tone Correcting concealer and have just purchased a new one (I just can't seem to find a better concealer). For setting my foundation, I've been really loving UD's De-Slick mattifying powder - it setts everything in place and takes away the shine, without giving you a really powdered look. :) The bronzer I've been enjoying throughout November, is Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzer in Milk Chocolate - such a gorgeous light-medium bronzer that smells heavenly. :) The blush I've been loving is e.l.f. Tickled Pink blush - it's a lovely pink blush with just a hint of shimmer in it, that doesn't really show up on the skin, it just gives a subtle glow/sheen to your cheeks. 

For my lips I've been loving two lip balms - Lip Smacker in Red Raspberry and Sierra Bees Organic Cocoa butter lip balm. I carry the Lip Smacker in my purse and have the Sierra Bees balm on my night stand. Both are lovely lip balms that really moisturize my lips and keep them moisturized for quite a while. Love them! When ever I wore lipstick, I grabbed the UD Revolution lipstick in Naked - it's just such a natural, gorgeous shade that I can wear on a daily basis. :)

And last but not least - the perfume I've been 'rocking' all throughout November is Versace Crytal Noir. Such a gorgeous fragrance, my favorite! I do switch up perfumes, but this is the one I love the most. :)

As far as skin care goes, I've been really enjoying my Liz Earle Cleanse&Polish hot cloth cleanser (no surprise there). It just removes makeup with such ease and leaves my skin clean and soft, never dry or tight. :) Whenever my skin started to act up, Queen Helene's Mint Julep masque came to my rescue. It really helps with breakouts and blemishes, I love this mask.

The face creams I was loving in November were Mario Badescu Honey Moisturizer and Liz Earle Daily Eye repair - this is my first eye cream and I love it. :) I also started using a lip scrub in November. I decided to go for Mint Julips from Lush - it's a lovely lip scrub that smells amazing (like After Eight chocolate). :)

My body was really enjoying Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea Honey Drops body cream. I've almost used up half of it and I'm dreading the day it runs out... though I have a few body creams on my wishlist, so I guess I'm also kind of looking forward to that. :) 

My hair has been enjoying a new hair oil in November - the Orofluido hair oil. It smells divine! I just love it and I love how the scent lingers on my hair...

My everyday (most loved) makeup products

Hello again my lovelies! Today I decided to share my most loved makeup products. These are products I'm loving at the moment and products I tend to use on an 'everyday basis' or rather products I use when I decide to wear makeup (I really don't wear makeup everyday). Along with the makeup I decided to show you the tools I use. I hope you find this post interesting... :)

First and foremost is the base... I've recently bought the Illamasqua Skin Base foundation. I've got a tester and fell in love with it, so I decided to go ahead and get it. It's a really lovely foundation that feels light but has great coverage (a more detailed review will be up next week). I apply it with my new favorite 'beauty tool' - the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion sponge (love this thing). The concealer I'm currently using for my spots and blemishes is Essence Match2 Cover concealer (it's a really decent concealer) and for under my eyes I still use my trusty e.l.f. Tone correcting concealer (I've tried a lot of new concealers lately but none of them have worked for me quite like this one does). :) I use the Real Techniques Deluxe Crease brush to blend out the concealer under my eyes (works perfectly).

For my eyes I love to use e.l.f. Essential Mechanical lash curler (ever since I've discovered this 'magical' tool, I always curl my lashes before applying my mascara). Lately I've been really enjoying the One by One mascara by Maybelline, though I do use the Mega Plush from time to time as well. The liquid eyeliner I've been using (and testing out) is Lashes to die for liner from Peter Thomas Roth (I got this free with one of my purchases at BeautyBay). For my water line, I've been really enjoying the Master Drama khol liner from Maybelline - it's really pigmented, really black and very creamy. :)

For eyeshadow - which I wear every time I wear makeup (I'm not one of those 'mascara and eyeliner' kind of girls), I love to use my trusty Urban Decay Naked palette (my most loved beauty item) and when I'm up for a matte, classic look, I use the UD Naked Basics palette. Of course I use my other eyeshadow palettes as well, but these two are the ones I use and love the most. :) As far as application goes, I use quite a few brushes - I use most of the brushes from the Real Techniques Starter set, for blending I use the brush that came with the UD Naked2 palette (love this brush) and I also use some 'no brand/Ebay' brushes as well. :)

For setting my makeup I've been loving the combination of the Urban Decay De-Slick mattifying powder and the B6 Vitamin-infused complexion prep spray. The powder takes the shine away and sets the foundation beautifuly, the spray gives back a bit of moisture and takes away the 'powdered look', making the skin look really flawless. :) I love to apply the powder with my Real Techniques Powder brush. It's a huge brush that helps you 'cover' big parts of your face, like your cheeks and forehead, but you can also squeeze it with your hands and help it fit nicely around your eyes, nose and mouth.

The finishing touches are of course bronzer, blush and highlighter. I don't apply these 'products' before the setting powder, because I feel the powder kind of 'covers' them, takes away the color. Though I do apply the prep/setting spray after, so I still set everything, in a way. :)

My favorite bronzer at the moment is Too Faced Chocolate Soleil in Milk Chocolate. It's a gorgeous, light-medium bronzer that looks very natural, not orange or muddy at all. And the scent... ahhh. :) I sometimes swap it with the 100% Pure Cocoa pigmented bronzer in Brown sugar, which is a lovely bronzer as well. :) The brush I use to apply the bronzer is a 'no brand/Ebay' kind of brush. It was part of a set I bought years ago (my first makeup brushes). It still looks great and I love it. It's angled/tapered shape really helps with contouring/applying the bronzer exactly where you want it. :)

The blush I've been loving lately is Sleek's Rose Gold (review coming soon). It's a stunning blush that looks like - yes, you've guessed it - rose gold. :) It gives a gorgeous pink sheen to the cheeks. But sometimes, if I'm wearing some really shimmering eyeshadows, I swap this blush with e.l.f.'s Tickled Pink blush, which is basically a matte blush, that gives a tiny bit of a sheen to the cheeks. The brush I love for applying all my blushes, is the Real Techniques Blush brush. At first I thought this brush would be too big for applying blush, but it turned out to be just perfect. :)

Last but not least is the highlighter. I absolutely love the highlighter that comes in the Sleek Contour kit. I kind of neglect the bronzer, but adore the highlighter. It's a lovely highlighter that's not too 'in your face', yet not too subtle - just right. :) I like to apply it on the top of my cheeks, on my cupid's bow, down the nose and on the brow bone (if I don't use any eyeshadow there). The brush that I use to apply it, is the Real Techniques Setting brush. It's a great little brush that's big enough to apply highlighter on the cheeks, yet small enough to easily apply it on the brow bone/cupid's bow as well (also really great for setting your under eye concealer). :)

I usually apply my lipstick last... I forgot to take some pictures of it, but my go-to lipstick at the moment is definitely Urban Decay Revolution lipstick in Naked. It's a lovely, everyday color. When I want something a bit more, I go for Fiend. That reminds me... I need to get some more shades. :D
