Hello my lovely readers! Here's another post about TV shows. I hope you like these kind of posts because I love writing them. :) In this post I'm going to cover the TV shows I'm planning on watching... soon. These are the shows that are currently on my "to watch" list. Here they are...

DEXTER

I think this show is well known. It's on its 8th season. I've watched some of the episodes here and there and know what it's about but I never really got into it. I think I'll get to it some time soon. I think I'll eater love it or won't find it interesting enough.

SUITS

I've also seen bits and pieces of this show but never saw a full episode so maybe this even isn't a show for me but you know me... crazy TV show lady, has to watch everything and since it has a good IMDB score I think it's worth a try. The fact that the main characters are gorgeous helps a lot. :D

JUSTIFIED

Now I don't usually watch these kind of shows but I watched an episode and loved it. Plus my best friend is watching it and loves it. Since we have similar taste I'm hoping this might be a nice show to watch and a little something different too. The fact that Timothy Olyphant is a very good looking guy makes it even a better choice. :)

DOCTOR WHO

I haven't seen a single episode of this show (at least I think so). All I know about it is that it evolves time travel. This show is well loved and talked about by people and has a high score on IMDB so I might start watching it soon. We'll see...

LOST

What??? You haven't watched Lost Maja? What's wrong with you? Have you been living under the rock? No... I just never really got into the show. I heard about it... like a lot. But I had other shows to watch. A lot of people seem to love (loved) this show so I might give it a try. I think I saw like a part of one episode and I was so confused I changed the channel. But... you never know, I might end up loving it.

WHITE COLLAR

Now this show I know I like because I've watched one or two episodes and really liked them, without being in the loop with all that was going on. I just don't know, if this is the kind of show I would stick to and have like marathons watching it. But I will definitely give it a try. The main character is also really charming and very good looking. :)

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER

What??? You haven't watched this show either? And you call yourself a crazy TV show lady... shame on you. Well... I've watched a couple of episodes of this show and loved them I just didn't start watching it regularly. I watched their bloopers/gag reels and they were hilarious. I might get into this show though I'm kind of skeptical I'll stick with it since comedy shows aren't my favorites or aren't the type of shows I tend to stick to.

Maja watches... TV shows

Hello my lovelies! Here I am again, with more TV shows I watch. :) These are the shows I have yet to finished (have some episodes left) shows that I'm watching as I type this post or shows I intend to watch in the very near future (that means I have them on my PC... waiting and calling me to watch them). Here we go... :)

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

A new CW show that I started watching just because I wanted to see the gorgeous Jay Ryan in action. :) And I also liked the "beauty and the beast" concept of the show. I have to say I do like this show, though it's one of my least favorites. Sometimes it can be a bit boring or just silly... But it can also be interesting and romantic and sexy (that's what we want right?). :) I still have 2-3 episodes left of the first season so I don't know how it ends. I hope for the best. The second season is coming this fall.

GRIMM

I started to watch this show when all of the "good-ones" were on break and I had nothing to watch. It's a modern twist of Grimm stories. It's kind of hard to explain so you'll just have to see it for yourself. I like the show but it can be a bit of a bore sometimes and it can get a bit repetitive. I really like the main character and his two buddies so that makes it a bit better. I think I have two more episodes left of season 2. I hope it gets a bit more exciting... I think it might get better. I'll probably watch the next season, if I won't be to preoccupied with better shows. :) Again, not my favorite show but interesting nonetheless.

MISFITS

I started watching this show probably a week or so ago and I'm already on the 4th season. I totally blame Lux for getting me hooked. If it wasn't for her I would probably never find this show. I'm happy I did though. :) It's an awesome show. Really something new and fresh. I love the British humor and I love how gruesome and dirty the show can be - no sugarcoating. I have mixed feelings about the 4th season. I watched the first episode and to say that I was surprised would be an understatement. They've gotten rid of one of my favorite characters (Nathan) in season 3 which got me down a bit, but they've managed to put a great replacement in. Now in season 4 I've lost three more characters that I loved and don't really know, if I'm going to like the new ones. I kind of admire the show/writters for not being afraid to get rid of the main characters but I also don't like it. We'll see... I have 7 more episodes to watch.

SPARTACUS

This show is still waiting for me to watch it. I loved both the first and second season, as well as the prequel. It is a brilliant show. It shows the real Rome and how the slaves (especially gladiators) were treated. It's based on history (some things really did happen) but there is also a lot of fiction. At first I was a bit bothered with all the blood and gore but then I just accepted it. :) There's also a lot of sex, and I mean a LOT. I don't know how I'll like this season but, if it's anything like the ones I watched so far, I'll love it.

GAME OF THRONES

I think this show really doesn't need an introduction. If you don't know it yet, go and watch it... NOW! It's just awesome. I haven't read the books so I can't tell you about those, but the show is brilliant. It's gruesome and crazy at some points but also really interesting, hot and sexy. :) It just can't be explained, you have to watch it. I have the whole 3rd season to watch but I'm kind of scared since I'm hearing it gets pretty shocking and people die. We'll see how it turns out...

AWKWARD

I found this show whilst browsing around IMDB. It had a good score and good reviews so I decided to watch the first season or at least a couple of episodes to see, if it was for me. Well... it turned out I really liked it and I flew through the first and second season in two days, then watched all the episodes of season 3 that were out and now... I have to wait for the new ones to come out. :) Now, many of you might not like this show since it's a teen drama (high school) and it can be really silly at times. But I like it just the way it is... I think it's a great show with a little stupidness to it. :) It's dumb, funny (at times hilarious) and most of all quite realistic.

HEMLOCK GROVE

I've watched the first episode and I have a feeling that you eater love this show or hate it. As I was watching I kind of got the feeling that this will be a very complicated / mysterious show. It also seems to be quite murky and scary. It is about the supernatural so,  if that's not for you, stay away. I know there are werewolfs, gypsys who seem to know a lot about the supernatural, some other supernatural creatures that I don't fully understand yet and I bet there will be more appearing in future episodes. I can't really tell yet, if I'm going to like this show or not. I'll keep you updated. :)

VIKINGS

I haven't started watching this show yet. I've seen the trailer and it had a very good IMDB score so I decided to give it a try. My best friend started watching it and she likes it so that's a good sign. :) Again, I might like this show or not. I'll let you know. :D

DA VINCI'S DEMONS 

This is another show I haven't started watching but I think it's promising. It's (obviously) about Da Vinci but it shows his early years and it is supposed to be an "untold" story (not something we've seen before I guess). It has a pretty good IMDB score so I'm hoping I'll like it. Some people are complaining that it doesn't really represent Da Vinci well, that it's to much Hollywood. We'll see... :)

Maja watches... TV shows

Hello my lovely readers! We're having some nice weather today and I'm feeling good so I decided to write a little post about TV shows I like to watch. Now I know this is a beauty blog and many of you might not find this interesting, but since watching TV shows and movies, listening to music and reading books is a huge part of my life I think it's only right that I incorporate it in my blog somehow. :)

First I'll let you know of all the TV shows I watch(ed) but are currently not showing (new seasons are being filmed or they've been canceled). I can't really put them in order from my favorite to least favorite since they're just so different. Oh, and just to let you know... I watch so many TV shows it's borderline crazy. :) Off we go then!

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES

Now this show I loooovee! If you're not a supernatural, vampire-werewolf kind of gal/guy then this one is not for you. It's about a girl (Elena) who is "torn" between two vampire brothers (Stefan and Damon). And that is kind of the main story but it's really so much more. I love this show because it keeps surprising me, the cast is gorgeous, the acting is great (in my humble opinion), the soundtrack is to die for and well... it's just great. And the season 4 finale was just... epic! I can't wait to start watching season 5. I hope it continues to be awesome and doesn't go downhill.

SUPERNATURAL

It's a show about two brothers who hunt and fight supernatural beings (legends, stories, angels, demons - they have it all). Again, if you're not into that, it's not for you. :) This show has just ended it's 8th season and I have to say I was pleased with it. The 7th season was really off-putting for me but they managed to get their sh*t together for this season. I was kind of disappointed with the season finale, though I think they might make it work in the next season. We'll see. I love the main characters - Jensen is just the most beautiful man I've ever seen and Jared is gorgeous as well so that helps. :D

ARROW

A new CW show that I also came to love. I had high hopes for this show and it did not dissapoint. It's about a spoiled Billionaire playboy Oliver Queen who is missing and presumed dead when his yacht is lost at sea. He returns five years later a changed man, determined to clean up the city as a hooded vigilante armed with a bow (source IMDB). I'm a total geek when it comes to heroes and vigilantes so I love the carachter of Oliver Queen/Arrow/Hood. The fact that Stephen Amell is eye candy (and ripped, so ripped!) helps with watching the show too. :) Really enjoyed this season and can't wait for the second one.

EMILY OWENS M.D.

I just loved this show. I'm not really that into hospital/medical shows (though I did like House MD) but this show was just awesome. It had everything you would expect from this type of shows but it was funny, clever, the main characters were really good and you could connect with them (at least I did). The final episode was amazing and then... then they canceled it. Of course... :( I was so pissed off. But what can we do ey?

TRUE BLOOD

Again, a show about vampires (yes I like vampires, so what?!). I love this show. It's something different, something fresh in the vampire department. It has horror, violence and sex, good sex. :) But... the last season (5th season) was a tiny bit less awesome than the others. Still loved it though. I just hope the 6th season will be even better.

AMERICAN HORROR STORY

I can't even begin to describe how awesome this show is. I thought the first season was great, but the second one just blew me away. If you like horror and I mean real horror not that pu**y stuff, then you'll love this show. It's terrifying, crazy and just brilliant. I especially love the fact that the first and second season have nothing to do with each other. The same actors (well some are new) play completely different characters.

THE WALKING DEAD

Now this is a show I didn't think I would watch. Even though I (obviously) love the supernatural I was never really into zombies... and this show has a lot of them, zombies that is. But it's just so much more. It's really complex and you get to know and observe each character as they eater adapt or perish in this zombie apocalypse. Brilliant and scary as sh*t. :)

TEEN WOLF

I started watching this show last year. I just saw an add/trailer and though it might be something I'd like. And I did. I still do. But I don't think this show is in the same league as the other shows I listed here. There are things I love about it (like the whole werewolf concept and the very good looking cast) but there are also a lot of things I don't particularly like (like the really bad acting sometimes and some bad fighting/action scenes). So I have a love-hate relationship with this show but I love it way more than I hate it. And it is getting better I believe so I'm looking forward to season 3.

BONES

This show is going strong and is filming it's 9th season. I really like this show. It's a procedural show - solving murders through forensic anthropology and other sciences. I find it really interesting since I am a future nurse and know a bit or two about the human anatomy, fiziology and pathology. I have to say I kind of miss the sexual tension between Both and Brennan that was oh so present in the previous seasons. I do like them together but it was just way more fun when they weren't. It does look like the writers are planning to split them up or at least give them a bunch of problems so we'll see.

NEW GIRL

Almost forgot about this one... :) This is basically the only comedy, short TV show I watch and I really like it. It is hilarious and really original. I love all the characters and how they interact with each other. I have to say the first season was a bit better than the second one but I really enjoyed the second one as well. Oh, and I just have to say - the kiss between Jess and Nick deserves a "Best kiss" award or something. Seriously, someone get them an award now. :D

Britney Spears Fantasy perfume

I got this beautiful perfume from my brother for my birthday (he has great taste in fragrances). I was actually looking to buy a Britney Spears perfume but was still deciding which one to get and then I got this one. :)

Top notes: kiwi, quince, red litchi

Middle notes: white chocolate, orchid, cupcake, jasmin

Base notes: musk, woodsy notes, orris root

I really like this perfume though I have to say I probably wouldn't buy it myself, if I smelled it in a store. The initial scent I get from it is very fruity and tropical which just isn't my cup of tea (I love heavy, sweet and spicy perfumes). But over time it starts to really develop and you begin to smell the sweetness of it (chocolate, cupcake...). In the end it settles into a gorgeous and quite gentle scent - warm and cuddly. :) And that's why I really like it. Is it my favorite perfume? No... but it's really really nice. I also had the opportunity to smell Believe by Britney Spears and I really like it. I think I'll be buying more of Britney's perfumes real soon. :)
